    The Gbanga blog is Swiss-based game studio Gbanga's news channel about exciting quests, hints and cheats; basically everything to make you more successful in the mixed-reality game Gbanga.

    It is also the place where the Gbanga staff is reasoning about location-based gaming, gamification of life beyond check-ins and other interesting stuff that happens around our work.

    Between May 16th and June 5th, Gbanga will feature three very special items to commemorate this special date celebrating the life and work of Douglas Adams and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

    Players are invited to take part in a special phonebooth side-quest: Call a phonebooth in a cell near you and you might get a shovel item. Use it by dropping it in a cell and wait 24 hours to dig a special Towel Day item! Each interstellar reward is worth 100’000 CASH!

    In addition, following Towel Day traditions, we invite you to carry a towel in tribute to Douglas Adams.

    Gbanga’s CEO and mixed-reality gaming guru will be talking about in-game purchases and how the gaming platform Gbanga has pioneered the space being the first Swiss app to use the in-app monetization model. In his presentation, Matthias will share his experiences with this model, discussing its potential and limits for different sectors.

    Gbanga is taking-over Berlin! Find out how 

    Giant green diamonds spread around the city of Berlin are catching the eye of the Berliners this week. With QR-codes printed on them, these precious items are the gateways to connect real and virtual world.

    After quickly scanning the QR-codes, people stumble upon the Gbanga Startup Quest Germany page where they can download Gbanga and find the locations of the german startups.

    The Hotel Stoos Quest is over and the lucky winners can all now relax and unwind. That means literally!     For Seminar- und Wellnesshotel Stoos and Gbanga it was very exciting to watch the race for top ranks play out on the Hotel Stoos Quest leaderboard, with gameplay available exclusively for participants in Switzerland, Austria and Germany! The quest took place from March 22nd to April 25th 2012 and we would like to congratulate all players for their efforts.

    Having collected and combined the largest number of star symbols, player Fresch is the winner, receiving a one night stay for two people at Seminar- und Wellnesshotel Stoos! Further winners are: fanaticdiver, ERICON, Jjack, fischa, icke and orxx who each win an exclusive “Day Spa”!
